OK, so it's been a while. I seem to use this as a means of venting, and recording for my own posterity, I guess. Anyway.
So, I was honest in my most recent Student Loan application (I use to lie on all Gov't forms etc - and I only ever got burned, so, no more lies). I declared that I made almost six thousand dollars this summer (ok, so I lie'd a bit, more economical with the truth - that was after taxes). I got my loan paperwork back yesterday, and seems I was supposed to SAVE money. The Gov't figure that if I made six grand, I should have been able to SAVE FIVE THOUSAND toward my education.... and live four months off one thousand dollars - I live alone - my rent for the summer was $2200 alone. So, the Gov't figures I need 5400 for this semester - my total student loan - $1059. Wish me luck folk... not really sure what I'm going to do - that's not even enough for my tuition.
Wonder if I can job-out at Village 900? If I can't get this sorted out, I may actually have to leave school, and that would suck the big one , for sure.

thanks for the support!
got a spare $5000 kicking around? As it happens, I will be continuing to do an abridged morning show until December. On-air from 7-9am, then off to class (none of our classes start until 9.30am this semester). So, yeah, I'll be making some money (the pay goes down as a work-on-campus-deal), however, it won't be enough to cover my tuition. I'm sure I'll be able to work something out, I may have to resort to house-sitting for the rest of my life. Oh, wait, I already do that!August 30 2005, 10:31:38 UTC 6 years ago
